Our Story
Founded with the vision of bridging the gender gap in technology, TechWomenNG is more than an initiative—it’s a movement. For years, we’ve helped young girls and women from teens to their 30s gain confidence, develop skills, and step into leadership roles in Nigeria’s tech ecosystem. We’re here to prove that with the right support, women can lead the future of innovation.
Our Mission Statement
TechWomen Alumni Association Nigeria empowers women and girls in STEM by leveraging the TechWomen experience and U.S. exchange programs to foster leadership, mentorship, and inclusive development. Through collaboration and advocacy, we inspire the next generation of women shaping technology and society.

Ejiroghene John
Engr
Engr. Ejiroghene May John is an educator, engineer, and digital innovation advocate with 17 years of experience advancing technology-enabled learning in Nigeria. She serves as a Principal Officer at the Rivers State Senior Secondary Schools Board and is the founder of Lesson Paddy and Teach Girls Tech NGO, where she trains students and teachers in AI tools, robotics, and digital skills. A TechWomen Fellow and leader of the INSPIRE Rivers Project, she is also Vice Chairman of APWEN Port Harcourt and Vice President, South-South Region, USGEAAN. Ejiro is committed to expanding AI-driven education, digital inclusion, and youth empowerment across Africa.
