Originally from Nigeria, Queen began her career as a chemical engineer in the oil & gas sector before immigrating to the United States over 20 years ago. Her foundation in engineering instilled a systems-oriented mindset, an ability to break down complexity, identify root causes, and build scalable, sustainable solutions. Her journey led her through roles in retail banking with Wells Fargo bank and Chase, consulting with Ashton212, and ultimately into the tech industry, where she spearheaded global DEI partnerships and alliances at Autodesk.
Queen currently serves as Vice President of Opportunity and Inclusion at Disney Entertainment, where she leads inclusion strategy across Film and Television for a portfolio of the world’s most iconic brands – including Marvel, Lucasfilm, Pixar, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Searchlight Pictures, 20th Century Fox, FX, Hulu, National Geographic, ABC, Disney Theatrical Group etc,. In this role, she is responsible for embedding inclusive people and culture strategies, cultivating leadership capabilities, and fostering a sense of belonging across global teams.
Beyond her corporate leadership work, Queen serves as a mentor to young women and girls in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia through the TechWomen program, an initiative of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Queen currently serves on the Board of Directors for Students Rising Above, an organization dedicated to supporting first-generation college students. She previously served as a board liaison for the National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering (NACME).
Queen holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Nigeria and a Masters in Human Resources Management from Golden Gate University, San Francisco. before immigrating to the United States over 20 years ago.
