About Us:
The TechWomen Alumni Association Nigeria (TWAAN) is a vibrant community of Nigerian women leaders in STEM committed to advancing gender equity, innovation, and women’s empowerment through mentorship, education, and technology-driven programs. We collaborate with local and international partners to implement impactful projects that empower women and girls across Nigeria.

Role Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Adhoc Technical Assistant to provide technical, administrative, and logistical support across our projects and programs. This part-time, contract-based role is ideal for a young professional looking to contribute to women’s empowerment and tech inclusion while building hands-on experience in project coordination and nonprofit development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning, coordination, and implementation of projects and events.
  • Assist with scheduling, logistics, and stakeholder communication.
  • Help collect and organize project data, reports, and documentation.
  • Provide technical support during trainings, webinars, and workshops.
  • Draft and edit communication materials, meeting notes, and project reports.
  • Manage digital platforms, shared folders, and collaborative tools.
  • Conduct research and prepare briefs to support program activities.
  • Perform other administrative and technical tasks as assigned by the team.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in a relevant field such as STEM, Social Sciences, Communications, or related discipline.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in project support, communications, or nonprofit work (internship or volunteer experience included).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with digital tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Canva, Zoom, and other collaboration platforms.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks.
  • Commitment to the mission of empowering women and girls in STEM and technology.

Contract Terms:

  • This is a part-time adhoc role, compensated based on agreed activities or project milestones.
  • The initial contract is for 1 year, with potential renewal based on performance and project needs.
  • The role offers flexible work hours, though availability during key events and deliverables is expected.
  • This position does not constitute full-time employment and does not include standard employment benefits.
